FAQ
-
What is the difference between a Public Tour and a Private Charter? On a Private Charter, the entire boat and operator are reserved at an available time and date requested by a guest, and catered to their interests. The individual chartering the boat is purchasing all of the seats. For example, a Private Charter could be a couple celebrating a special occasion, or a group event. Contact Highland Boat Tours directly to book a Private Charter. A list of public tours will be posted on this website as they become available. We currently offer one weekly Public Tour, "Lost Haliburton Boat Tours", in partnership with the Haliburton Highlands Museum. On a Public Tour, individuals can purchase a seat or seats for a specific date, time and tour. Up to 10 passengers, all of whom may be unrelated, could be on this Public Tour. Contact Haliburton Highlands Museum directly to book tickets for this Public Tour.
