Growing up on the shores of the St. Lawrence River allowed me to spend a great deal of time "messing about in boats".
As the son and grandson of a hotel owner, I'm also fascinated by learning about the people who have travelled before us, and the impact they have had on the way things are today.
So what could give me more pleasure than to operate a boat and share my love of local history and the beauty of the 5 lake chain in the Haliburton Highlands.
