Lady of the Lake is a Classic 24' fantail launch
designed by Ted Gozzard of Gozzard Marine
in Goderich Ontario. She ‘came out of the mould’ in 1989 and first saw commercial duty as lodge launch at Muskoka’s Cleveland House. Following that she became a tour boat operated out of Huntsville’s boat basin where 5 years of the operation was done under electric power.
We purchased her in 2012 and over that winter and spring of 2013 she underwent an extensive overhaul to meet current Transport Canada requirements, primarily in the area of safety equipment. Further improvements included a refreshed hull and the installation of a new inboard engine equipped with a closed cooling system.
Gozzard’s C-24 is certainly a reflection of a more casual lifestyle that demonstrates
form and function can co-exist.
